It was my first day in this class for new communication technology. First ,all the concepts were explained on what kind of technology is new and how it has developed in recent years. Internet has played a major role as it is available to any common man. Sites like facebook, myspace have grown at a huge rate and a survey in lectures proved that atleast 95% of students have their profile uploaded in such sites.
Online games and videos including movies are the recent improvements i have noticed in past 2 years. Nowadays the internet come with unbelievable speeds and unlimited downloads, which allows the users to stream videos without downloading them and helps saving their disk space. Mobile phones are developing day by day, and the competition has been stiff. The normal function of a mobile phone has been discriminated with all other functions being more valuable. The new apple iphone which i use is almost like a computer with a really smooth touch screen sensitivity.
Overall, it was a good start for this new course. Hopefully more about blogging and technology communication will be understood in next 2 weeks... :)
